Average Marginal Tax Rates Historically
Look at how the average marginal tax rate (and it's components) moved up to fund WWII and never came back down. Basically, we are all 1/3 slaves, because that is what portion of work output is taken from us by our moral and intellectual superiors like Nancy "Natural Gas Is Not A Fossil Fuel" Pelosi, Barney "Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Are Solvent" Frank and Chris "I Got My Sweetheart Mortgage Deal From Angelo Mozilo" Dodd.
